The legend says that in 1610, a Cévenol potter visiting the Beaucaire fair, saw an Italian vase in the Médicis style, decorated with flowers, fruit and garlands. It gave him the inspiration for the famous Anduze Vase … which this year celebrates its 400th Anniversary.
This hypothetical anniversary gave Muriel Goro the extraordinary idea to create 400 painted and numbered vases.
In collaboration with the Chêne Vert Pottery, the artist will use small vases to demonstrate her talent.
